Extended Absence

Yes, yes y'all. It's Val Cohn. I met up with her in Balmain last Thursday. The first half of the day I spent at the Sydney Acquarium which, although touristy, was very fun.

I left Sydney for Newcastle on Saturday. Newcastle was boring so I went to Stockton which, at first glance would put anyone in a coma, but it ended up being the best move. Steven who runs Stockton Backpackers is a total gem, and his family is amazing. On Sunday I went for a wine tour of the Hunter Valley. It was... eh, just okay. I am looking forward to Barossa and McLaren Vale. I hope they can meet my expectations.
