Fiordland National Park

Yes, I am colossally behind. No, I have no idea when I will get caught up. Internet access in fiords is slim to none.

So I went to Fiordland National Park, land of the famous Milford Sound. Let me say, this place rains 200 days a year. It's true. Crazy rain. I did the following over a few days:

Day 1 - Doubtful Sound
Milford's lesser-known but much larger sister fiord to the south. This is a big mama fiord. Lots of ocean life including bottle-nose dolphins, cormorants, fur seals and yellow crested penguins. It was a sweet cruise and we lucked out on the weather, despite what the pictures look like.

Day 2 - Kepler Track
Did a short (9km) jaunt on a river segment

Day 3 - Milford Sound
She's not popular for nothing.

Not a bad 3 days, I say. Next stop: Queenstown and the Otago interior.

Aussies and Kiwis love Fleetwood Mac. You have no idea. I'm serious, it's scary.
