Luang Prabang + RIP Camera
It appears that dropping one's camera into the toilet is not a good idea. I'm not sure what did it in, it was either the smashing against hard porcelain or taking in water, but it is toast and I am not in a good place to be buying a new camera. SO, that's it for pics for the next little while.
Luang Prabang is a great city. Very relaxed and a total 180 from Hanoi, just what I needed. So far I have seen a number of temples around town and have been eating my face off. This afternoon I went to Kuang Si Falls which is probably the most impressive series of pristine waterfalls I have seen on this whole trip. The swim was very cold and very worth it. No pics due to the camera-meets-toilet incident.
